Since our district’s founding over 140 years ago, the Mariemont City School District has been defined by its strong community, tradition and innovation. Our dedicated and talented staff take great pride in the excellent education and environment they create for our students every day, something we call the Mariemont Experience!
Our goal is excellence in education. We know that, in order for our students to be competitive in their futures, they must become global learners and committed members of their community and world. And it is our responsibility to meet and exceed this expectation. That’s how we live our mission statement to Work Smart, Create Experience and Embrace Growth.
At Mariemont City Schools, we provide opportunities for students to excel in and outside of the classroom. Best practice, well-researched instructional strategies and high expectations are the hallmarks of every class, and we make students’ interests and passions the focus of our work. We recognize the importance of experiences beyond the school day; our students can participate in a well-rounded selection of opportunities in performing and visual arts, clubs, travel experiences, activities and athletics. We also believe that student and staff wellbeing is a priority and focus on school safety, mental health and bullying prevention to maintain a safe and positive environment for all of our children.
To offer a top and competitive education, we recognize the importance in creating meaningful technological opportunities for students and teachers. We provide students with a comprehensive, hands-on use of technology. It is interwoven throughout their day and classes, and we believe technology is and should be a powerful tool to amplify high quality instruction.
We also take great pride in offering excellent fiscal stewardship. We are recognized for excellence in financial reporting, and our community is responsible for the value we are seeing as a result of its strong support. We are grateful to the community for the resources it provides us so that children and teachers alike can grow, thrive and excel well into the future.
The Mariemont City School District is only as strong as its relationships with parents and community residents.
