Parents can give their children healthy, nutritious meals and save money. Free and reduced-price school meals are provided by the National School Lunch Program. This federally assisted meal program is administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free meals to students in more than 101,000 public and nonprofit private school and residential childcare programs. Eligibility is determined by household size and income level, and there are no restrictions based on immigration status.
