Planning on bringing a guest to the Snowball dance on January 25th? You can find the blue guest forms in the office. Please return the completed form to Mr. Block or Mrs. Stinnett by Friday, January 24th. You can now purchase dance tickets on the athletic site. Each tickets costs $15.00.
Juniors and Seniors- are you looking for community service hours? We need volunteers for our 8th Grade Open House on Thursday, January 23rd. The commitment would be from 5:30pm-7pm. Email or see Mrs. Zaya if you're interested.
Earn service hours volunteering at Fairfax Ladies Movie Night. January 31 6:30-9:15pm at the Fairfax recreation center. Also, Fairfax Bowling Day February 2 12-4:30 pm at Madison Bowl. Contact Tracy Naticchioni at tracynatch @msn.com or Kim Arp at karp @mariemontschools.org if interested
Sophomores- apply now for this leadership opportunity! The Regional Youth Leadership applications are now open. RYL leaders participate in monthly sessions examining topics such as arts, culture, economic development, local government, and more. The program will run next school year with monthly sessions occurring during the school day. Each session is held at a different business or organization throughout the region and led by community and business leaders. See Schoology for the link to the application or email Mrs. Zaya. Applications are due to RYL by February 1st.
Calling all sophomores! The application to attend Great Oaks next year is now open until February 4th! Check Schoology for the application link. Interested students can also attend the Live Oaks field trip on January 24th (turn in your permission form to Ms. Tackett). Scarlet Oaks Campus will also have an open house on January 23rd and Live Oaks Campus will have an open house on January 30th. Please see Ms. Tackett for more information.
