Mariemont City Schools students will once again be featured in a cross-continental art exhibit as the USA/Ukraine show is set to return this spring. The exhibit will run March 3-17 at the Art Barn’s Loft Gallery in Mariemont.

 

This marks the fourth collaborative exhibit in conjunction with the Cincinnati/Kharkiv Sister City Partnership (CKSCP). It will feature pieces from students in Mariemont City Schools and those from Kharkiv, Ukraine. The same show will be on display in Kharkiv in mid-March.

 

This year’s theme is “City of Dreams” and is intended to show students’ imaginations through artwork which unites us all across the world.

 

The show will run for 15 days with viewing hours from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

 

The district would like to thank the CKCSP, the Mariemont Arts Association and the Lviv Children’s Gallery for contributing to the exhibit and helping make the experience possible for our students. The Opening Reception will take place on Sunday, March 3 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. and all are welcome.
