ANNOUNCEMENTS -- Wednesday, January 22, 2020


1. SOSmont is meeting today at lunch.

2. Cincinnati State will be visiting Thursday at 11:05. Interested students should come to the front office.

3. Calling all artists – join us this Thursday in the main office conference room for our Career Chat during Warrior Bell featuring a graphic artist. She’ll share with us her career journey and what she does on a day-to-day basis.

4. Attention Key Club members: Volunteers are needed to serve as guides during 8th grade open house on Thursday Jan. 30th. Please sign up on the Key Club bulletin board in Mrs. Bell's Rm 113 in Blue Mod.

5. The Southwest Ohio High School Swimming and Diving Classic is the largest high school swimming invitational, with 3,000 swimmers and 118 teams participating. There are 10 sites and Mariemont competed at Milford. Our finals qualifiers were the Girls 400 Medley Relay (Elizabeth Bonnell, Jacqueline Young, Lydia Eberlein, and Ava Ellis), Jacqueline Young in the 200 Breast stroke, Daniela DeCamp in the 50 Breast stroke, and the Girls 200 Medley Relay (Elizabeth Bonnell, Jacqueline Young, Lydia Eberlein, and Erin Kelly). The girls placed 27th overall with 32 points.

6. Guest Permission Forms for students planning to bring a student from another school to the Snowball Dance are available in the front office. Snowball Tickets will be sold this week in the front office during lunch and Warrior bell. Tickets are $10 each.

7. The PTO is once again selling corsages and boutonnieres for the upcoming Snowball Dance. The PTO receives a portion of every sale. Flower pick up takes place on Friday, January 24, 2:00-3:30 in the school office. Custom orders can be placed directly by calling Donna Lennox at 513-271-2266. Questions?
