Monday, December 16th : Today’s challenge is “Remember to treat others as you want to be treated ”
- Students and staff will participate in some fun spirited days these last days before winter break. Please encourage your child to dress with the following themes:
- HAT DAY – ANY HAT WILL DO, HOLIDAY OR OTHERWISE!
- Elementary Explorations for 5th and 6th grade – Session 2, Week 5
- 6th Grade Chorus Concert – Mariemont Elementary 7pm
Tuesday, December 17th: Today’s challenge is “Hold the door for the next person”
- DRESS AS YOUR FAVORITE HOLIDAY OR BOOK CHARACTER
- Grade 4 students are collecting pop tabs for the Ronal McDonald House. This is a year long project, giving everyone time to collect the ring pulls! Please save all the ring pulls for this worthwhile project, your help is greatly appreciated.
Wednesday, December 18th: Today’s challenge is “Share a smile”
- COMFY DAY - SWEATS, PAJAMAS, WHATEVER MAKES YOU FEEL COZIEST
- Please check the Lost and Found, there are many items that need to be claimed. Items were either left on the playground or in the gym during the day or in the evening during basketball practice.
Thursday, December 19th: Today’s challenge is “Help a classmate with a task”
- SPORTS DAY - WEAR A SHIRT FOR YOUR FAVORITE TEAM
- Skool Aid - Fun with Science in the Library 3:30pm
Friday, December 20th: Today’s challenge is “Enjoy Winter Break!”
- HOLIDAY SPIRIT DAY - PULL OUT YOUR FAVORITE UGLY SWEATER OR ANY HOLIDAY GEAR
- Grade level Winter Holiday Parties (please refer to teacher newsletter for exact times)
- Remember to take your bike/scooter home with you at the end of the day, do not leave it at school over the winter break.
