Do you love trivia? Come to Quiz team on Thursdays at lunch in Mrs. MacLeod's room. We also compete against other area high schools during the winter. Please see Mrs. MacLeod or Claire Hoffner with any questions.
Calling all sophomores! The application to attend Great Oaks next year is now open until February 4th! Check Schoology for the application link. Interested students can also attend the Live Oaks field trip on January 24th (turn in your permission form to Ms. Tackett). Scarlet Oaks Campus will also have an open house on January 23rd and Live Oaks Campus will have an open house on January 30th. Please see Ms. Tackett for more information.
Attention all students in PE Flex Credit: The semester exam is now on Schoology and is due on Thursday 12/19 at noon. Please complete it at your earliest convenience. If you have any questions - please see Coach Veeneman.
Students, in an effort to support and ensure families in our Mariemont community have a great holiday season, Student Council and Leadership Council will be promoting a "Caring Tree" of gift cards the week of December 2nd - December 6th. The "Caring Tree" will be on display in the lower Hub outside of the library. We encourage students and staff to drop by and pick an ornament and buy the gift card selected to help support our families in need. Please return the gift card purchased and the ornament selected with the amount of the gift card to Mr. Commins in room #45 by the end of the day on Monday, December 9th. The ornaments represent the places most in need but we will accept any gift card donated. Student Council and Leadership Council both thank you for your generosity this holiday season.
Congratulations to Mr. Vilardo's first bell class for bringing in the most items per student for the Key Club canned food drive. The donations will help support InterParish Ministries to provide items to families in need this holiday season. Mr. Vilardo's 1st bell will enjoy donuts on the Wednesday following Thanksgiving.
Interested in doing yoga? It’s free and limited to 30 students, so act quickly. Classes start on Tuesday, 12/3, 12/3, 12/10, 1/7, 1/14, 1/21 during Warrior Bell in the Aux Gym. Yoga mats will be supplied and a trained yoga instructor will lead the sessions. Scan the QR code to sign up.
