Golf
The boys golf team played Kings yesterday. Mariemont scores were Grady Hurt 35, Brennan O’Brien 40, Connor McCoy 43, Samuel Qu 39, Owen Sleeper 43 and Walt Dronsfield 36. Highlights of the match was a birdie by Sam and by Walt. Congratulations to all golfers.
Soccer
MJHS girls soccer team beat Seven Hills last night 1-0. The goal was scored by Emma Stratton! Way to go Warriors! Next game is Monday at 5:45pm at MHS! Come support your classmates at Kusel.
Cross Country
Today’s Cross Country meet is at Mason. Members of the Cross Country team will dismiss today from their 7th bell class at 2:55 in order to arrive on time for their meet against Mason. Runners are to change into their uniforms and meet at the bus (bus leaves at 3:10). An announcement will be made later today for team members to leave their 7th bell class.
Picture Retakes
Tuesday, September 10 is picture retake day. Students who were absent on orientation day, and students wishing to have a new set of pictures taken, please pick up a flyer from the office. Remember if you are having retakes, bring your original picture package to the photographer on Tuesday.
The annual Warrior Run will take place on September 28 at 5:15 p.m. (1 Mile) and 5:30 p.m. (5K) at Dogwood Park in Mariemont (both courses start and finish here). Please consider joining our team and/or volunteering (even if you don't participate in the run, just registering helps raise money for our district).
The run includes a 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Walk, Kids’ Fun Run, great food, music, and carnival-style kids games. You can even participate virtually if you prefer.
Please consider joining our team, making a donation, or both! The money raised goes directly to supporting our mental health programs in the Mariemont City School District. Sources of Strength, Signs of Suicide, MindPeace Rooms have all been supported through our Warrior run funds.
