Track and Field
The track and field team opened their season yesterday at the Taylor Invitational. Congratulations to the following athletes for placing in their events: Leivi Nash, Porter Cartwright, Nathan Lester, Logan Mastropaolo, Carly Long, Katherine Husted, Parker Martin, Corinne Cline, Gretchen Hoying and Polly Sontag.
Two Warriors set new school records last night. Carly Long set the school record in shot put for her 25-5 ft throw. And Corinne Cline set the 1600 m record, finishing in 5:50. Congratulations to all!
Power of the Pen
We will practice tomorrow after school. Be prepared to write!
Project LIT
We will meet this Friday during lunch in Mrs. Jordan’s room to discuss the end of our book. Bring your books to turn in. All 8th graders are welcome! We will start a new book this Friday.

Spring Fling
Please save the date for our Spring Fling. Spring Fling is a casual social event that revolves around a dance but will also have yard games to enjoy as well. Spring Fling will take place this Friday, April 4th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and will take place at the Jr High in the gym. Admission is free but once students enter, students will be expected to stay the duration of the event.
