4th Quarter School-Wide Book:
“The Best Part of Me”, by Wendy Ewald
An award-winning photographer asked several children "What is the best part of you?", and presents their answers in this sometimes funny, sometimes moving, deeply personal book that includes striking black-and-white photographs taken by the author. Ideal for parents and teachers to use to discuss body image, self-esteem, and diversity with children.
The Best Part of Me weaves poetry into photography. Children share a photo of the best part of them and write to accompany their photo. It showcases a diverse range of children, and the stories that make them unique.
- Please notify the school office before 9:00AM by calling 272-7400, or via email [email protected], on days that your child(ren) will be absent, tardy, for appointments or are leaving for lunch.
- During school hours, all visitors must present their driver’s license in the main office to obtain a visitor’s badge that must be worn for the duration of the visit, this includes field trip chaperones.
- The Mariemont City School District has adjusted the fee payment schedule to ease the burden on parents who have many expenses at the beginning of the school year. Fee information is available online HERE. There is an option to pay fees online with MySchoolBucks using a credit card, with cash, or by check made out to “Mariemont City Schools”. Fees are due by November 1st.
