Mr. Pfeffenberger began his tenure as the principal of Mariemont Junior High School in July of 2023 after serving as the Dean of Students at Mariemont Elementary School for two years.

He joined the district from Madeira where he served as an eighth grade science teacher and head baseball coach since for eight years. He is originally from St. Marys, Ohio, and was a four-year baseball student athlete at the University of Dayton where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Childhood Education with a concentration in math and science. In 2018 he earned a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership from Xavier University and completed the Principal Licensure Program.

 

He currently lives in Cincinnati with his wife Ashley, son Wells and daughter Ellis.
