Before starting at MCSD in 2023, Mr. Thomas was previously an instructional design coach with Forward Edge, where he presented at several national and regional conferences including ISTE, FETC, TCEA, MACUL, and OETC. He also presented for Google for Education on the newest Google tools coming to the world of education. His background prior to teaching came from the radio industry, where he worked as an on-air personality, sports broadcaster, producer, and promotions assistant at several different radio stations. He is still a sports broadcaster at Chatterbox Sports and is a primary provider of soccer coverage in the Cincinnati region. He is excited to work with the junior high students to begin their experiences in communications, public speaking and media before going into high school and beyond. 

 

Mr. Thomas is a huge sports fan and cheers on all Cincinnati teams as well as the Ohio State Buckeyes. You can usually find him and his wife, also a teacher, at the FC Cincinnati matches during the entire season.
