Biographical Information:
As high school librarian and digital learning coach, Mrs. Colpi serves staff, students, and the community by:
- collaborating with teachers to design and teach projects
- creating and coordinating the library curriculum with the district library staff to promote information and technology literacy K-12
- delivering just-in-time professional development and support to staff and students, both face-to-face and online
- selecting and evaluating materials in all formats, including instructional materials that reflect current information needs ,and current, high-quality, varied literature to develop and strengthen the love of reading
- sponsoring a weekly book club to encourage fellowship and community among avid readers
- leading the MHS MakerSpace with innovative programming that encourages students to invent, tinker, and explore while developing interests and pursuing passions outside the traditional classroom
- establishing and promoting programs that inspire students to lead and learn
- providing engaging instruction in a variety formats for a variety of learning styles.
