Trista (Yu-San ) Lai is from Taiwan. She received her master’s degree in language pedagogy from Indiana University and holds a graduate certificate in School Technology Coordination. Trista is passionate about promoting cultural exchange and cultivating 21st century global citizenship in her classroom through language instruction. She joined Mariemont City Schools in 2019 as a Mandarin teacher. Prior to coming to Mariemont, she has taught Mandarin in Indiana University, Princeton in Beijing (PiB), Baltimore, MD, and ChinesePod.
