Biographical Information:
Lance Hollander serves the Mariemont City School District as the director of human relations and district operations. Mr. Hollander has been with the district since 2004. In his tenure, he has served as principal of the Mariemont Junior High School during the 2013-14 school year, principal of Mariemont Elementary School from 2010-2013, and as the principal of Fairfax Elementary from 2004 – 2010. From 2007-2010, Mr. Hollander also served as district facilities director for Mariemont City Schools. He has been instrumental in the process of developing a long-term master facilities plan as well as overseeing ongoing facilities issues.

As the director of human resources and district operations, Mr. Hollander’s main role is to assist in coordinating all business and operational aspects of the district’s non-instructional areas, such as maintenance, human resources, board policy, technology, bullying prevention, and building usage and safety.

Prior to joining the district, he spent three years as the assistant principal of Sherwood Elementary in the Forest Hills School District and held math and social studies teaching positions in the Three Rivers and Cincinnati Public Schools district.

Mr. Hollander’s educational background includes bachelor degrees in both Sociology and Elementary Education and a master's degree in Educational Administration – all from the University of Cincinnati. He has also completed graduate coursework at Xavier University.
