Biographical Information:
Shannon Kromer serves the Mariemont City School District as the Director of Teaching and Learning for grades K-12. Mrs. Kromer has been with Mariemont since 1995. Before assuming this role with the district in 2011, she served the district as a junior high language arts teacher and grade level leader.

As the Director of Teaching and Learning, Mrs. Kromer assists in the planning and implementation of all professional development for teachers. She monitors annual curriculum reviews and the use of instructional technology.  Mrs. Kromer helps to analyze the data for district and state testing and assists teachers with the development of instructional best practices.  She manages several district initiatives as related to the long-term, strategic instructional plan.  Mrs. Kromer also serves as the district administrator for Blackboard.

Mrs. Kromer has a BA in English/Secondary Education and a Masters in Educational Administration, both earned at Xavier University. She holds a Professional Administrator license for grades 4-12 and a Senior Professional Educator license for grades 7-12. Shannon is also recognized as a Master Teacher by the state of Ohio.
