Six Elementary Students Featured in State Art Exhibits
Art Students and Board of EducationThe Ohio Art Education Association has selected six district students for display in a pair of statewide art exhibits in honor of Youth Art Month. Six students from both Mariemont Elementary School and Terrace Park Elementary School will be included in the exhibits in Columbus.

Quinn McGahey (ME fourth grade), Alyssa Folino (ME first grade) and Elise Greiwe (TPE second grade) will have their artwork on display in the Young Peoples Art Exhibit in the Rhodes State Office Tower. Over one hundred pieces were selected for the juried show from the eight regions of the state that represent OAEA.

Clara Nichols (ME fifth grade), Porter Cartwright (ME second grade) and Auggie Scribner (TPE second grade) will be on display in the Youth Art Month Exhibit at the State Teachers Retirement Systems (STRS) building. Over one hundred pieces were selected for the juried show from the nine regions of the state that represent OAEA.

All six students were recognized by the Mariemont City Schools Board of Education during the February meeting.
