SELF-CONTROL:  Take time to think before you act.

 

Monday, September 30th:  Today’s focus is “Celebrate Differences Day” 

  • Elementary Explorations for 5th and 6th grade – Session 1, Week 4
  • 6th grade field trip – Ultimate Underground
  • Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15)

 

Tuesday, October 1st :  Today’s challenge is “Remember to think before you act”

  • Kindergarten Field Trip to Green Acres
  • After School Enrichment– Chess Earth in the library 3:30-4:30pm
  • After School Enrichment – Art  G1 & 2   .3:30-4:15pm
  • After School Enrichment – Art  G3-6  .4:30-5:15pm

 

Wednesday, October 2nd:  Today’s challenge is “Do something that makes you proud”

  • Elementary students Walk/Ride your Bike to School Day
  • After School Enrichment – CAPA Creating Character G1-3  3:30-4:15pm
  • Parent volunteers needed for Pumpkinfest.  Please sign up!

 

Thursday, October 3rd    Today’s challenge is “Plan ahead”

  • PTO Fundraiser, beautiful mums for sale from Natorp’s Nursery 3:20pm at the Flagpole
  • After School Enrichment – Nuts & Bolts in the Science Lab 3:30-4:30p
  • After School Enrichment – Art Lab  G3-6   in the Art Studio  3”30-4:15pm

 

Friday, October 4th:  Today’s challenge is “Take deep breaths when you feel upset”

  • Please check the Lost and Found in the main hall
  • Remember to take your bike/scooter home with you at the end of the day, do not leave it at school over the weekend.
