Stock Market Games
We are pleased to announce the 7th annual MJHS Stock Market Game (SMG), led by Jeremy Gates, a certified financial planner with Fifth Third Securities. Mr. Gates is a Kiwanis member, and has been in the investment industry for 20 years. This two month challenge involves students working in teams researching and trading stocks through the stockmarketgame.org and the University of Cincinnati. Each team begins with $100,000 (virtual dollars) to build their portfolio. SMG meetings will take place on Tuesdays during 7th and 8th grade lunch periods. The first meeting will be Tuesday, February 4th.
