The Mariemont High School Chamber Orchestra got an early look at a college music program on Saturday, Nov. 6, when it joined the Miami University Morpheus Chamber Ensemble for a day-long rehearsal, campus tour and concert.

 

Throughout the day, the students participated in a sectional coaching with the college professors, a full rehearsal with the combined group, a campus tour led by a current Miami student and played alongside the Miami Morpheus Ensemble which includes a recent Mariemont graduate.
 
 The MHS students were able to connect with professors and students about pursuing music at the collegiate level and set up private lessons with the professor of their instrument to learn more about Miami’s program.
